Callouts

The Author theme allows you to create a callout that is shown across your entire website, and also customize callouts on a per-page basis.

To create a site-wide callout:

1. Navigate to Author Theme -> Theme Options -> Callout Options
2. Turn ‘Display Callout’ on.
3. Enter the Text, Button Text and Button URL.
4. Press ‘Save Changes’.

To edit the callout on a single page, post or book:

1. Navigate to the edit screen of your content
2. Scroll down until you see ‘Custom Options’
3. Enter the Text, Button Text and Button URL.
4. Scroll back to the top and either ‘Save Draft, ‘Publish’ or ‘Update’ your content.

If both a site-wide callout and per-page callout are set, the page-level callout will have priority and be shown.
